The 100 Best Skate Photos on Flickr!

There are a lot of skateboard photos on Flickr, but most of them are not up to the level of what a “real” skateboard photo should entail. For example, the “most interesting” skateboard photo on Flickr is a boring newspaper style picture. “Where’s the coping?”
I made a selection of 100 of the best skate photos taken by 100 different flickerites. These are, in my opinion, pictures that could potentially make it into everybody’s favorite skate publication: The Skateboard Mag.
If you want to check out some more awesome skate photography, peep the work of ElectrikCandyland, fernandomartins, ineeddadrink and SnoopDong. Those guys really know what’s up.

i’m surprised at how photogs can go wrong with framin sk8 photos on flickr with the digi cameras, it’s definitely hard to find good stuff sometimes, and good work on this huphtur!

Most of these wouldnt make it into The Skateboard Mag, some of these are pretty weak. But at the same time I’m hyped on other ones. You should have made it top 25 photos and only used the better one.

WarrenFoster: I could have easily featured all of SnoopDong’s photos but I really tried to find 100 different people with a good skate photo. Which wasn’t easy.

Thats sick that you did this. One of my shots is dead center. I have shot skating twice in the last 5 years maybe I should shoot it some more. The day we shot this one of the guy broke his leg on a 13 set. oh yeah it was shot for a canadian mag too.

Maricellina (and everybody else that referred to a thumb on this page): the grid is fluid. If you resize your browser window, the grid will adjust. So it’s kinda useless to you say “2nd row, 8th photo”. Dude, who left the first comment, nailed it though.
